SIKKIM IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE

SIKKIM is one of the state of INDIA,which is located in the Himalayan mountains.It is cover by other beautiful place they are---- 
 1)Nepal 
2)Bhutan 
3)west Bengal    
Sikkim is the least populous state in India and the second smallest state after Goa.Sikkim is too small but still  it is geographically diverse due to its location in the Himalayas . Kangchenjunga is the world's third highest peak which is located on Sikkim's border with Nepal.This place is a popular tourist destination,it also has the only open land border between India and China.Sikkim's capital is Gongtok and Gangtok is a largest city is these state. 

  According to legend, the Buddhist saint Guru Rinpoche visited Sikkim in the 8th century AD. After that he introduced Buddhism and  foretold the era of the monarchy. Sikkim's Namgyal Dynasty  was established in 1642. Around 150 years kingdom witnessed frequent raids and territorial losses to Nepalese invaders.In the 19th century,it allied itself with the British rulers of India, but was soon annexed by them.Later, Sikkim became a British protectorate,before merging with India following a referendum on abolishing the monarchy in 1975.

English is not a official language but it is taught in schools and used in government Documents. Not only English but Hindi is also taught in schools and most of the people understand Hindi and English both..

Sikkim's people follows the  Hinduism and Buddhism and some people follows Christianism.
